Here‘s the bakery, and here‘s a good discussion about the pastry in the middle, the St Agatha’s breast.  The cannoli were far and away the best I’ve ever had, with candied orange bits on the top.  The “peach” on the right was a wonderful cakey sort of a thing, with a delicious jam filling, not too sweet, quite fruity, and definitely enough for sharing.  Sometimes you really do get what you pay for.  (Note:  in case you were wondering, the breast pastry is sitting on a small bit of foil-covered cardboard.)  (Note 2:  not my birthday.)
